Family Support & Early Help

Here at Ellen Tinkham we have a team dedicated to supporting our families. This support ranges from arranging your children’s annual review, facilitating communication between parent and staff, providing information between outside agencies like Devon’s Family Information Service and supporting families through loss and bereavement.

 Jo Ellis

Jo Ellis

Early Help Officer

I’m originally from South Africa, but have lived in Devon for over 20 years with my husband and three daughters. I had the pleasure of working at The Hex and Bidwell Brook before taking up my current role at Ellen Tinkham. My role covers both the School and the College to build supportive relationships with pupils and families by managing and arranging Early Help meetings with relevant professionals. I am passionate about my role and aim to deliver positive change to students and their families by identifying individual needs and securing the support available. Please call 01392 467168 if you need to reach me.
